A confession from the clubhouse: I've always felt slightly out of place in most golf environments. I got shouted at by an old man the other day because I forgot to take off my hat. Oops.
The world doesn't need another golf towel. Or another visor with a cheesy slogan. Or more tacky golf paraphernalia that screams "I play golf" from a mile away.
What we wanted to create was something that might not initially belong on the course – something elegant, unexpected, something that makes you do a double-take. Because the best accessories are the ones that surprise you.
That's how The Members Scarf was born.
The Design Story
We started with pure silk crepe-de-chine, sourced from mulberry silk and made in the UK. Not because it sounds fancy, but because real silk has this incredible ability to make everything around it feel more intentional.
The dimensions – 25" x 25" – are sized to actually work. Big enough for your golf bag, perfect for your hair, ideal around your neck. Every measurement was tested and adjusted.
But here's what I'm most proud of: the hand-rolled edges. We could have gone with machine-finished hems. Instead, we chose artisans who still hand-roll each edge. It's the difference between something that feels precious and something that feels mass-produced.
Why Only 25?
We're still learning what our community wants. Making 25 pieces means we can put everything we have into each one. It also means when you wear The Members Scarf, you're part of something genuinely limited.
